Ok- this is kind of candy related.
I'm sure that each of you has a stash of something somewhere. Hiding a stash of lollipops on a high shelf in the pantry, perhaps little frozen candy bars in your freezer, or you might hide money. I did this. From my husband. And I got caught.
It was ladies night out at the local lounges in Scottsdale. My friends and I had a girls' night out. I was in the cab on my way home when I realized I didn't have enough cash to pay the driver. YIKES! So I called my dear sweet husband, who I guess was sleeping at 1am- geez! He didn't answer the phone very happily, and was even more irritated when I said I was in a cab and needed cash- 2 strikes in 1 instance? Could I make this situation worse? Yep! I could.
He replied that he did not have any cash, and what was I doing coming home in a cab at 1am!? I said, "well, umm…okay… go in my closet, and in my brown shoe… there umm…. is some money"- cut off in the midst of my sentence he angrily said, "WHAT?! Are you laundering money or something? What do you mean there is cash in your SHOE?"
Just to clarify, my husband is the sweetest, most docile man in the whole world who would save a silly bug if it were dying! But if you wake him from his sleep, and tell him your hiding money, lol, he gets a wee bit irritated!
Anyway- my stash was discovered. I only had about $120 in there, but then again, I HAD $120 in there! I told him to go ahead and start his stash. If don't notice it, why is it a problem?
My stash has since been relocated, and now is bursting!! Hee hee… hope he doesn't read this blog!
So I say- get a stash! Save up for something great! Or just keep those little sweet temptations hidden so no one finds them.
Who's Your Candy?
