We just received a great pic from one of our customers who purchased a fun candy Whirly pops. She had so much fun celebrating her daughters first birthday! Yes I am originally from the East, and in the summer time we enjoyed the hot sunshine, running through the sprinklers and the cool evenings catching lightening bugs. Fast forward to ARIZONA, in JULY AND AUGUST, our hottest months, I’m trapped in the house. And if I dare have to go out to pick up the kids, grocery store shopping, or a quick errand, I bolt to the car with such ease and reach for the AC promptly! No doubt about it, IT’S HOT!
One of our customers just called to pass along their photo of their garden club, and yes you heard me correctly, Garden Club in Arizona! They are also in agreement with me! She is holding their monthly gardening party and has so proudly named "It's Too Darn Hot to Garden." She purchased for the occasion, cinnamon discs, and placed them all around their tables! How appropriate, spicy, hot and a great time all mixed together with good friends!

We are always looking at the new trends in candy for the new year and are VERY happy to find that Edible Wedding Favors are said to be the new wedding trend for 2011! There are many suggestions out there on how to make this happen!
*Get boxes or bags custom made with your wedding date and names to use as the favor container. Or choose a favor container the goes along with your wedding decor and style. Some great examples are a formal groom tuxedo, white weeding dress card stock container, monogrammed boxes or cellophane bags. For the extra formal affair what about placing the favor in an enchanted carriage, silver chair or mini take-out box.

 I found a great blog about weddings today! I am going to a wedding in Ohio this weekend so the blog sparked my interest. Today's blog talked about how to arrange a candy buffet for a wedding. There are so many styles you can go with: monochromatic (1 color), a combination of different hues of the same color, a rainbow of colors, and then there is also variation in the vases, glasses, and dishes used to display the candy.
Jelly beans seem to be a great place to start, but I'd like to suggest some other ideas…..
