My wonderful husband who suports my strange my love of pickles recently found these little gems! The best part…..they are only $1.99! Can you believe it! You get an entire large french fry container full of sour pickle chips fried to perfection! Not too much batter either. My mouth is watering!

How exciting one of our clients Color Me Mine, inBoulder Colorado, is celebrating Easter in a very colorful and fun way! We love hearing all about how our customers reach out and use our candies! These wonderful rainbow pops will be a great give away for their customers and light up their world! Sounds like in the morning they will be holding an Easter Pancake breakfast. We just received a great pic from one of our customers who purchased a fun candy Whirly pops. She had so much fun celebrating her daughters first birthday!  Ok really, I totally understand that the New Year resolutions bring us to reevaluate ourselves, life issues, money issues and health issues. I get it really, but seriously now and then we all get that “sweet desire” and I’m really hooked on the “sugar free lifesavers” And if you think about it the name itself is a positive step in the right direction. I mean really who can’t go wrong with eating sugar free as well as having a Lifesaver! Ya gotta try em!

I love this time of the year! It brings me back to the east with
falling leaves, the smell of fires burning at night in the cool air, hot cocoa,
or hot apple cider, pumpkins, family dinners, college football games, sweatshirts,
warm fuzzy socks. It is all such great memories that I could never forget. I’m
starting to plan for the family feast “Thanksgiving” and that means I
get to have some fun in the kitchen and enjoy it! Homemade this and that,
cookies, pies, treats, breads, to fill the kitchen up with all the recipe articles
that I have been ripping out from the tons of magazines that I have been saving.
Thinking, “I could make that”, “that looks pretty simple and
sweet”
ok so I’m no Martha Stewart but I’m definitely going to give it the
ole college try! So now I have to find that darn apron, I have to at least look
the part!

Whew I feel much better now. Me and my Oral B are best friends already so bring on the candies, its holiday time and the sweets are a plenty! I mean really who couldnt resist a caramel apple lollipop,

Yes I am originally from the East, and in the summer time we enjoyed the hot sunshine, running through the sprinklers and the cool evenings catching lightening bugs. Fast forward to ARIZONA, in JULY AND AUGUST, our hottest months, I’m trapped in the house. And if I dare have to go out to pick up the kids, grocery store shopping, or a quick errand, I bolt to the car with such ease and reach for the AC promptly! No doubt about it, IT’S HOT!
One of our customers just called to pass along their photo of their garden club, and yes you heard me correctly, Garden Club in Arizona! They are also in agreement with me! She is holding their monthly gardening party and has so proudly named "It's Too Darn Hot to Garden." She purchased for the occasion, cinnamon discs, and placed them all around their tables! How appropriate, spicy, hot and a great time all mixed together with good friends!

So today is the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. I’m trying to think how to make the most of this day, celebrating with my family, friends and good food. Why is it, that food is such a comfort for us? Are there really some great additives in that hard candy, or are the antioxidants in that dark chocolate that stimulate our senses to such a great degree leaves us asking for more….ABSOLUTLEY, SO FILL UP MY CANDY BOWL!
